The procedure begins with preparation by protecting the lips and gums, leaving the teeth exposed. The Zoom! Whitening gel is then precisely applied. This hydrogen peroxide-based gel is activated by the Zoom! WhiteSpeed LED lamp through 3 to 4 rounds of 15 minutes each.
The hydrogen peroxide works to break up stains, discoloration and ultimately whiten the enamel.
Afterwards, you will be given post-operative instructions and a maintenance kit. The maintenance kit includes your custom-made take home trays and touch-up whitening gel.
